Built-in stitch counts should not be confused with the separate marketing term “stitch applications.”
Write down the seams and finishing operations needed for your next two projects. Then locate those operations in each exact model’s stitch chart and manual. A larger stitch count may expand choices, but the number alone does not establish stitch quality or whether a particular fabric is suitable.
